Hi folks
Does anyone know about a good company dealing with Telephone Answering Services in the US?
I mean getting a phone number with a teleconsultant answering your calls, taking messages and forwarding them via mail.
Thanks !

Consider getting a VoIP phone with a U.S. phone number

You will then be able to answer your phone calls in Paris, France, yourself while the callers think you are in the United States of America.

Mobile phone in roaming
Jan 6, 2005
Hello,
I only have a mobile phone, so whenever I get a phone call from a client I am always able to take it, even when abroad. In roaming, we get the call, the client thinks we are at our base and we pay the extra call rate. Not bad, taking into consideration all the advantages.
Best regards, Mónica

BTW, about the mobiles

In Latvia all mobile telephone service providers have the same policy - if I go abroad and have the international connection purchased for that, I always pay for incoming calls, is that the same way in other places? This summer I am travelling to US, France,Laos and possibly to an African state (not known yet) so it would be very useful to find out what my clients will have to pay if they give me a call during that trip.

Your clients will always "only" pay the rates to Latvia, or where your subscription is.
If you then decide to bring your mobile phone out of the country, you will be the one that gets the extra charge from Latvia to whereever you may be situated.
Anything else would also be unfair to the caller.
