They advertise "Erlebnisduschen" in the sauna complex next to a theater in Stuttgart where I used to work. We always used to laugh at that term. It sounded stupid then and it still sounds stupid now! I feel EdithK's answer below is a dramatic improvement!

I've translated these as themed showers before, e.g. rainforests, ice caves, etc! Various spa sites describe these, I think.

You would have to see this to know what it is. Erlebnisse can be fun I suppose, especially if the showers are for both sexes!
