Hi, friends.
I can´t seem to find a translator for this word. It really seems that it must be left in English, but I would like some confirmation.
It´s the combination of a rudder and an elevator in some airplanes.

I have a picture of it:

Elevador de leme

Sim, me parece que o leme se move em mais de um eixo e pode mudar de elevação.

ruddervators (cauda em V)

Hi Daugusto,
As requested for help over the term Ruddervator. It's a mixing of Rudder (Leme) and Elevator (Profundor) used in some types of Aircraft that have a V Tail (Cauda em V) type Plane.
They must be described as Ruddervators, in the plural, due it has two surfaces one in each side of the airplane tail.
So, for this term, the correct way to better describe the component for people that know aircraft is better to keep it in English and in the plural to describe both sides.
Example sentence:

Já na configuração em “V”, as superfícies da empenagem são combinadas em apenas duas superfícies, formando a letra alfabética. Esta formatação é conhecida como “ruddervators”, termo criado pela fusão das palavras rudder (leme) e elevato
