Libros Rubricados

Decir signed and sealed books no me parece muy apropiado.
Ideas?
Perdón, pero tengo cierta urgencia de entrega.
Gracias!

No sé si sirva. Esperemos.

legalized books

In the case of Argentina, this term describes it best. Books to be used for corporate records must be takn to a ministry where they are provided with a legalisation certificate.

Y sí, es algo así. Gracias patinba!!
Peer comment(s):

agree Robert Carter : Given your references, this makes the most sense to me, although I might choose something like "officially authorized" rather than "legalized" because of its connotation with the apostille process.

neutral David Hollywood : sorry but I don't think "rubricate" is appropriate in this context Taña... more usual with decorating medieval texts but I might be wrong...ok seen it now and I see everybody's going with "books" but I think "ledgers" is fine in accounting-speak

Signed and sealed books

A ledger is a book containing accounts in which the classified and summarized information from the journals is posted as debits and credits. It is also called the second book of entry.

The ledger contains the information that is required to prepare financial statements. It includes accounts for assets, liabilities, owners’ equity, revenues and expenses. This complete list of accounts is known as the chart of accounts. The ledger represents every active account on the list.
