b&b is short for bed and breakfast normally, but I have not seen it called hotel b&b. I am wondering that b&b is abbreviations for some words? Bed & Breakfast usually is family oriented stayover place, usually is in people's home in Europe and US, not luxury enough to call hotel or even motel. Also, Bed and Breakfast is exactly not hotel, because people choose bed and breakfast for the experience of the local family life, food, hospitality and most of the time, it is cheaper to stay. Maybe people list b&b under hotel, like hotel: b&b? Without knowing the context, I can't tell, but I just want to put in my two cents.
