"We Are Down to Win"
Appears as a heading at the top of a labor union flyer directed at workers having to do with a campaign to unionize a workplace. Here is a little more context from elsewhere in the flyer:
"We are willing to take a short term pain for a long term gain. We will follow the steps of solidarity,
strength, and sacrifice that the XX did to win what they deserve.
UNITED WE ARE STRONG, UNITED WE WILL WIN”

¡Venceremos!
Te doy tres opciones:
1. ¡Estamos determinados a ganar!
2. ¡Nos proponemos vencer!
3. ¡Venceremos!

- "We are willing to take a short term pain for a long term gain".
- "... and sacrifice that the XX did to win what they deserve."
- "Nadal rallies from a set down to win in Rotterdam"
- "by fighting back from a goal down to win 2-1"

Note from asker:
En este caso "down" se refiere a being down (dispuestos) to do something. |
