Not much context I am afraid - in a list of vehicles owned by a frieght forwarder. They have the following vehicles:

Sattel is simply an abbreviation for Sattelzug

trailer/tautliner/semitrailer

Hope this helps, not sure but maybe it's a start for you:
For Planensattel there seems to be a lot of mention of trailers/tautliners and Koffersattel (closed box) semitrailer

tilt/box semitrailer

These are the terms I would unhesitatingly use.
"Tilt" is used for tarpaulin-sheeted frame trailers in this context.
