如果只看中文译文，你是不是理解成有一个关于全球紫外线水平的应用叫SunSmart。这就被错误的译文带偏了。原文的意思是这个应用叫SunSmart Global UV。不信你可以到Apple App或Google Play上去查。

应改为

应用程序SunSmart Global UV有助于预防紫外线危害并增进公众健康

我的观点 Apr 25

出现这样的错误无外乎以下几点：

1. 新手翻译
2. 用翻译工具翻译
3. 没有技术背景/技术翻译背景，不知道什么是DNT。


所以，对于技术类的英译汉或汉译英，我一般只做Translator，不做Reviewer。如果客户非要我做Reviewer，我就按小时收费，而且收费较高！

快3年了，错误依旧 Apr 26

WHO是联合国的下属组织，联合国的正式文档要提供6种工作语言的版本。联合国有专门的中文部负责有关文档的中文翻译。哪怕是新手翻译的，proofreading时也应该发现。其他5种语言的版本都没出现这个问题。

我2022年为此给[email protected]发过email, 没有人理，直到现在，快3年了，错误依旧--无语！
