Report from  Jonathan Orr-Stav
After a change of date and reconfirmation by only six or seven people, we weren't sure how many would actually attend, but in fact it was a good turnout: thirteen registered members turned up + the boss of a fourteenth who couldn't attend at the last moment. The restaurant obliged by adding more tables as people arrived.

Conversation was easy and lively right from the start—so much so, we clean forgot to take pictures of this historic inaugural powwow of the Israeli ProZ chapter. However, many business cards changed hands and possible future partnerships formed, evidence of a pent-up demand for contact with fellow local translators outside formal frameworks such as the ITA (or which many are not members).

Towards the end of the meal, many people changed seats as to have a chance to chat with others at the table.

Although the evening had to end earlyish around 9pm, the ice has been broken and future powwows will undoubtedly be much easier to arrange.

Thanks to everyone who attended, and hope to see you in future get-togethers.
