What translation project are you working on right now?
Just finished a huge 66k translation of a book related to humanities Arabic to English, unorthodox post-modern Arabic (I guess I don't have any other way to describe the syntactic style employed by the author in this work). Back to certificates and documents. Commentary in Classical Arabic being translated to English. Man is it tough! But slogging away ;) Collection of legal contracts, Arabic to English. Short deadline. Busy! Resting my fingers after a long long week. Translated almost 20,000 words for a news media client. An academic paper researching anthropology. 10,000 words. Busy fingers, touchwood. |
