Message:I am glad to attend this event, it would be a nice place to meet other attendees translators like me, and to be able to interact with all of you.
Bio:I was born in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. Early on, I started showing interest in languages and cultures; such interest made me study English for three years, and I still keep learning it every single day. After finishing school, in a search for advice, I started meeting u...p with the best professional translator from my region who encouraged me to follow my passion step by step. With enough confidence, I took the first step by volunteering on Twitter as a Community Translator for a year. Then, I got my first Freelance job at Unbabel.com.
Being a student of electrical engineering has made me able to perform translations in the STEM areas.
I've always considered myself as very ambitious and dedicated. I love reading, writing and helping people as far as I can. Today, I continue to build experience and develop potential knowledge in the field.

Bio:By fortune I became bilingual as a child and later on I began doing translations for friends and acquaintances until I began getting some formal training on this. I went to college in the USA and obtained a B.Sc. degree in Bioengineering and that gave a a very good back...ground in almost every technical discipline. I have worked as a simultaneous interpreter and have done a lot with technical translations, particularly in medicine, IT and engineering in general.
