Dr. Beverly Adab is Senior Lecturer in Translation Studies and French at Aston University, Birmingham, UK. Her research interests include Cross-cultural problems of Translation, Semiotics and Translation, Corpora and translation, Evaluation and assessment�all within Functionalist approaches� with a particular interest in the Translation of Advertising.
