Experience

Face-to-face and Simultaneous Interpreting:
 Providing legal interpreting service on a regular basis for more than 13 years for Crown courts, Magistrates’ courts and County courts all over the UK and in Ireland. This required both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
 Working closely with Police Services including Metropolitan Police, British Transport Police, UK Border and Immigration forces, Thames Valley Police, Surrey Police and Essex Police comprising of live simultaneous interpreting during field operations, interviews, making transcriptions and taking statements.
 Worked with HM Prison Services for legal visits with the solicitors, Police interviews and assessments by respective authorities.
 Deployed by Local authorities as their official interpreter including Camden Council, London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
 Closely associated with Government bodies that include Social Service, Cafcass, Job Centre Plus, HM Revenue and Customs, Department for Work and Pension (DWP) and Department of Housing.
 Regularly attend medical interpreting sessions for Hospitals, GPs, Health centres and private clinics.
 Appointed by EASO (European Asylum Support Office) as an Interpreter and Cultural Mediator for UNHCR refugee projects in Greece.

Conference Interpreting:
 Attended National and International conference interpreting events.
 Conference interpreting in the European Commission Nuclear Security Conference in Karlsruhe, Germany.
 Provided conference interpreting service for The British Council for International Education Conference in Reading, UK.
