First - where do you get the operating system? It's easiest to oder the CD-ROM installation set from http://www.OpenBSD.org. Your money will help support this nonprofit organization and keep OpenBSD alive and growing.
If you are cheap, you can find a list of free download sites for the PC computer version at ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/. At this writing the current version is at ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/2.6/i386/INSTALL.i386. Check to see what the latest version is before downloading. It's more work to do it this way and you won't give the OpenBSD team any support for ttheir outstanding work.
The wonderful thing about OpenBSD is that its default installation is so easy and so secure. Basically, you simply start with the same sort of hardware you used for your Linux attack computer. You might even use your Linux computer. You can run both OpenBSD and Linux from the same drive if you feel comfortable with partitioning you hard drive and playing with boot sectors.
