I have ample experience and education in translation and interpretation, but I am new to ProZ. My experience includes:
Translating for the Word Bible Translation Center (English to Spanish)
Teaching beginning to advanced English courses in Bogota, Colombia, at Unitec Community College and EF Language School
Interpreting Spanish, French and Italian at hospitals in Peoria, IL for Interservices Inc.
Teaching French and Spanish at John A Logan Community College and Rend Lake Community College, respectively, in southern Illinois
Was the International Area Director for the YMCA in Bogota, Colombia for 3.5 years providing interpreting and translating, and developed an English Language Immersion program
Teaching Spanish to 4 - 12 year old children at Creative Kids in Peoria, IL
I also hold a Masters Degree of Liberal Arts in Modern Foreign Languages and Spanish Literature from SIUC
