Bio
-I work as an Associate Professor at the Defense Language Institute since 1990. I have taught , among other subjects, translation and interpretation, Modern Stadnard Arabic and Egyptian dialect.
-I currently head the Machine Translation Project team at Defense Language Institute in a project that is a joint venture between my employer, DLI and Massachusetts Institute of Technology [MIT].
- I have supervised the translation review team at McGraw Hill publishing company in a project involving the country of Qatar within the framewrok of Qatar's Education Intitative. The project- which is concluded recently- has been a big success and have allowed all team members to acquire unique and unprecedented translating experience.

I have participated as well as supervised a multitude of translation projects for the Defense Language Institute.
