Basic Description
The D1-PPM is designed to control the level of CO2 / Carbon
Dioxide within an enclosed area. The unit can be used to
either increase (ADD CO2) or to decrease (REMOVE CO2).
The main features of the D1-PPM are:
1) Precision NDIR Carbon Dioxide sensor measures the
CO2 content of the air being sampled and displays the
CO2 level in parts-per-million (PPM) on a digital
display. The unit can measure from 350 up to 2500
PPM.
2) The CO2 sensor can be located up to 5 meters / 16 ft
from the control unit.
3) User selectable settings provide a wide range of
control possibilities. For example the unit can be set to
either increase or decrease the CO2 level. A built-in
photocell ensures the unit only operates when the
user selects it to.
Principal of operation
The D1-PPM controller has 4 buttons to access all of the
settings and a backlit LCD digital display that shows the
current conditions / times and provides a simple method for
the user to change their settings. The unit features a power
socket (receptacle) on the front to connect to your equipment
and a 2 – meter power cable to provide power to the D1-PPM.
The CO2 sensor can be placed up to 5 meters from the unit.

How it works
Although the D1-PPM may seem complicated, the basic
operation of the unit is actually quite simple. The unit can be
connected to a CO2 regulator or CO2 generator that will
increase the CO2 level of a greenhouse or indoor growing
area. The other way the unit can be used is to reduce the level
of CO2 within an enclosed area. By connecting an exhaust fan
to the D1-PPM, the unit will activate the fan if CO2 levels go
above the user’s setpoint.
Installation
Sensor assembly
The CO2 sensor that is connected to the unit can be placed up
to 2 meters from the unit. Hang the unit where it can sample
the air. Do not expose the sensor to direct sunlight.

Controller
The controller can be mounted to a wall or support using the
hanging bracket.
1) Mount the unit on a wall or support.
2) Connect the unit to the power source.
3) Do not connect the device to be controlled yet.
Changing settings – menus
When the user touches the MENU button, the LCD will show
the user the menu items.
The 4 pushbuttons on the unit are UP / DOWN / Menu / Enter.
• When the user presses the Menu button, the first
menu item will be displayed.
• Using the up or down buttons will scroll through the
other menu items that can be customized by the user.
• When the user wants to change a setting, press the
Enter button and the current setting will be highlighted
to indicate the setting can be changed.
• Use the Up or Down buttons to change the setting.
• Press the Enter button a second time to accept the
new setting and store it in memory.

Descripción Básica
El D1-PPM ha sido diseñado para controlar el nivel de CO2 / Dióxodo de Carbono en un espacio cerrado. La unidad se puede utilizar para incrementar (AÑADA CO2) o bajar (QUITE CO2).
Las características principales del D1-PPM son:

Funciones principales

La unidad viene con un enchufe delantero que conecta el equipo y con un cable de corriente de 2 metros que alimenta el D1-PPM. El sensor CO2 se puede instalar hasta 5 metros de distancia de la unidad.
Como funciona
Aunque el D1-PPM parezca complicado, el funcionamiento básico de la unidad es sencillo. La unidad se puede conectar a un regulador de CO2 o a un generador de CO2 que incrementará el nivel de CO2 de un invernadero o de una zona de cultivo interior. La otra manera en que la unidad puede ser utilizada es para reducir el nivel de CO2 en un espacio cerrado. Conectando un ventilador de escape al D1-PPM, la unidad activará el ventilador si los niveles de CO2 están por encima del conjunto de puntos del usuario.
La instalación
Montaje del sensor
El sensor CO2 conectado a la unidad se puede instalar hasta 2 metros de distancia de la unidad. Cuelgue la unidad en un lugar que esté en contacto con el aire. No exponga el sensor directamente a la luz solar.
El controlador
El controlador se puede montar en una pared o soporte usando un soporte colgante.
1)Monte la unidad en una pared o en un soporte.
2) Conecte la unidad a una fuente eléctrica.
3) No conecte todavía el dispositivo al controlador..
Reconfiguración valores – menú
Cuando el usuario presione la tecla MENU, el LCD le mostrará los puntos del menú. Las 4 teclas de la unidad son UP / DOWN / Menu / Enter.
• Cuando el usuario presione la tecla Menu, aparecerá el primer punto en el menú.
• Utilizando las teclas up y down éstas desplazarán a través los otros puntos del menú que el usuario quiera personalizar..
• Cuando el usuario quiera cambiar la configuración presionará Enter y la configuración actual resaltará indicando que se puede reconfigurar.
• Utilice las teclas Up y Down para cambiar la configuración.
• Presione Enter otra vez para aceptar la nueva configuración y guárdela en la memoria.
