For the past 24 years I have taught English in Japan at the university level, where I acquired my knowledge of Japanese language and culture. For translation work, I usually collaborate closely with my wife, who is a native speaker of Japanese with a good knowledge of English, or other Japanese native-speakers with excellent English skills.
