I am an experienced translator/proofreader, and I specialize in English-Urdu and Urdu-English language pairs.
I am a born-and-bred Pakistani, which means Urdu is my mother tongue. However, I was educated in the English language, and my day job is that of a journalist at an English newspaper, so I am well-versed in both languages.
I have been freelancing as a translator/proofreader on Upwork for more than a decade now, during which time I have worked on hundreds of projects with FCI, The Language Experts — a US-based translation agency. I have a similar sort of association with OctaFX and PoliLingua.
I can offer translation, proofreading, editing, transcription, interpretation, transcreation, localization, voice-overs as well as writing services.
