Causes:
The disease may be brought on by taking any
substance which is in itself poisonous into the
stomach, by a large amount of food taken at
one time when the constitution is feeble, or
when there is convalescence from some
serious illness. The disease is sometimes
brought on by imperfect mastication of food.
The doctor should be called in on the
appearance of the symptoms and his directions
implicitly followed.
