Bio
Translation and interpreting gives me opportunity of employing systematic and critical approach of a researcher and attention for details of a project manager.

I’ve realized this after my first interpreting assignment.
It was so exciting to practice instantaneous decision-making and jumping from one corner of brain to another in search for the right expression.

This first experience of interpretation was that good that I've decided to add the vocation of translator and interpreter to my professional activities.

So, put simply, I'm translating because it feels good.

I've unofficially started translating in 2012, as a proofreader and website content manager.

As time passed, I’ve realized that my translations have added value because:

*of my accuracy, when it comes to technical translations.

*of my resourcefulness, when it comes to finding prompt response. If I don't know some particular term I know where to look for answers.

*of my ability to read in between lines of intercultural dialogue. In other words, understanding the sense of what someone is trying to communicate and finding the best possible way to tell it right in another language.

Presently I'm living in Italy, and I have a 24/7 professor of Italian language: my wife Sara ProZ is a professional translator and interpreter.
This puts me in a privileged position of having in-house consultancy on translation and interpreting methods, resources and small tricks.
I literally do not have to get out of my bed to get the right advice when I encounter a doubt or ambivalence.

Before you start reading about my education and working experience I think it's time we get to know each other better, but only if you speak Italian language.
The article on the following link ProZ was published on the blog of Italian news portal "Il Fatto Quotidiano" shortly after I worked as a consecutive interpreter on the video reportage "Beograd - right in the middle".
