Why PHYSICS is important?
It is clearly important that students need to know why Physics is important and what careers or other benefits may stem from studying physics. Without an understanding of the basic physics of the problem, we would be setting in the dark, so why is Physics important? This is because none of these today’s amazing technologies (electric, computers, X-ray, mobile, internet, artificial satellites, laser, etc…) would be possible without Physics.
A firm grasp of Physics is needed to be able to even begin thinking about producing such technologies. Engineers of today design buildings, bridges, computers, simple robots, aircraft and almost all of the objects that surround us. While these kinds of engineers will never go away, we will need to add new fields of engineering to accommodate the production of advanced technologies. None of these will be possible unless interested and capable minds pursue an education in physics.
What is Physics?
Indeed, many students find it difficult to even define physics.
Physics is one of the fundamental (or natural) sciences (Mathematics, Physics and chemistry). It is interested in understanding natural phenomena that occur in our universe and find out the fundamental laws of such natural phenomena and their applications.
It is often considered the most fundamental of all the natural sciences and its theories attempt to describe the behavior of the smallest building blocks of matter (molecules, atoms nuclei, light) up to the Universe and everything in between.

لماذا الفيزياء مهمة؟
من المهم بشكل واضح، أن الطلاب بحاجة إلى معرفة سبب اهمية مادة الفيزياء والمهن أو المنافع أالاخرى التي قد تنبع من دراسة هذه المادة. الجهل في اساسيات المعادلة الفيزيائية يشبه الجلوس في الظلام، وبناءً عليه، سؤال يطرح نفسه: "ما هي اهمية مادة الفيزياء؟". الجواب بسيط، وهو أن كل هذه التقنيات المذهلة اليوم (الكهربائية، أجهزة الكمبيوتر، الأشعة السينية، الهاتف المحمول، الإنترنت، الأقمار الصناعية والليزر، الخ ...) لم تكن لتتوفر لنا من دون علم الفيزياء.
لنتمكن على الاقل من البدء حتى في التفكير في سبل إنتاج مثل هذه التقنيات التكنولوجية المتطورة، نحن بحاجة إلى فهم راسخ للفيزياء. مهندسوا اليوم يصممون الأبنية، الجسور، أجهزة الكمبيوتر، روبوتات بسيطة، الطائرات ومعظم الاشياء التي تحيط بنا. علماً بأن هذه الاختصاصات الهندسية التي سبق ذكرها باقية و ستستمر، نحن في حاجة إلى إضافة حقول (اختصاصات) جديدة في الهندسة، لاستيعاب الإنتاج للتقنيات الحديثة المتطورة. إن أيا من هذا لم يكن ليصبح ممكناً، لو لم يكن هناك اهتمام، عقول قادرة على الاستيعاب و تهدف الى دراسة الفيزياء.
ما هي مادة الفيزياء؟
في الواقع، يجد العديد من الطلبة صعوبة حتى في تعريف مادة الفيزياء.
الفيزياء هي واحدة من العلوم الأساسية أو الطبيعية (الرياضيات، الفيزياء والكيمياء). يهتم علم الفيزياء في فهم الظواهر الطبيعية التي تحدث في عالمنا وفي ايجاد القوانين الأساسية لهذه الظواهر وتطبيقاتها. في الكثير من الأحيان يعتبر علم الفزياء الاكثر اساسيةً بين جميع علوم الطبيعية، و تحاول نظريات علم الفيزياء وصف سلوك اصغر الوحدات الاساسية للمادة (كالجزيئات، ذرات النواة و الضوء) و الكون و كل ما يحتويه.
