Having worked as a freelance
translator for two and a half years, for SDL for one and a half years, and
for Blizzard Entertainment for one year, I am currently working as a freelance
translator (again!).

At SDL, I worked as a
translator, and of course, translated and reviewed a lot of various
documents in the field of automotive, IT, tourism, and
manufacturing. All those source materials had many different
types from pdf manual to html website, xml contents and many others.

SDL has a lot of clients
around the world, and some of them were located in Japan. I was able to utilize
my Japanese skills to translate Japanese materials also.

While I was at SDL, I was the
lead translator for the following clients: PSA (Peugeot Citroen) Group, Spark
44, Schaeffler, Misumi, Muji Ryohin, Plantronics, Kawasaki, All Nippon Airways
and many others.

At Blizzard Entertainment, I worked with
the localization team. I translated in-game (players actually see during their
play) and out-game (players cannot see in the game but the information relevant
to the game, i.e. patch note or announcement) contents.

As Blizzard Entertainment is well-known for
its great localization quality, I was able to learn how to improve my
translation skills to help users better understand and feel the products as if they
were made in their own country.
