Source text - Persian (Farsi) سازمان ها همواره در جست و جوي فرصت‌ها و کسب تعالی هستند. براي موفق بودن، شناخت موقعیت سازمان و تغيير و تحول با هدف بهبود، مي‌تواند به سازمان‌ها كمك كند تا بر مشكلات خود فائق آيند. ظرفیتهاي سازمانی مجموعه‌اي از پتانسیل‌هاي سازمان براي عملکرد است (ايزنگر، 2002، اينگراهام و همكاران، 2003، ساسمن، 2004؛ كريستينسن و گزلي 2008) كه به معناي توانایی سازمان براي تعیین و محقق کردن اهداف به طور موثر، کارآمد و به یک شیوه مرتبط و مداوم مي‌باشد (برايان، 2011). هدف از به‌كارگيري ظرفيت‌ها، کمک به بهبود عملکرد سازمانی در پرداختن به موضوعات شناخته شده و واکنش نسبت به موضوعات به وجود آمده، که ناشی از تغییر سریع جهان امروز می‌باشد. بنابراین لازم است منابع، دانش و فرآیندهایی که در جهت دستیابی به هدفهاي سازمانی به کار گرفته می‌شوند، شناسایی شده و مورد استفاده قرار گیرند. یکی از مسائلی مهم در اين زمينه، عدم شناسائی و تمرکز روي ظرفیتهاي سازمان‌هاست. اولویت مسیرهاي آینده در جهت توسعه ظرفیت می باشد. و منظور از اولویت تحویل دادن نیست بلکه حمایت و تسهیلات است (Baser & Morgan, 2008).
Translation - English Organizations are in a never-ending quest for finding new opportunities and earning excellence. Identifying the status quo of the organization and making changes to improve the conditions would help organizations in overcoming their problems. Organizational capacities are a set of potentials for higher performance (Eisinger, 2002; Ingraham et al., 2003; Sassman, 2004 ; Christensen and Gazley, 2008) which refer to the capability of the organization in determining and fulfilling its objectives in an effective, efficient, and consistent manner (Brian, 2011). The major goal of employing capacities is to improve organizational performance in dealing with known problems as well as newly arisen issues which result from rapid changes in today’s world. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to identify and use the resources, knowledge and procedures which would contribute to the fulfillment of organizational goals. One of the major issues in this regard is the lack of identification and focus on the capacities of organizations. The priority of future directions is to develop organizational capacity by providing more support and facilities (Baser & Morgan, 2008).

Source text - English Garrett applied the knowledge conflict framework in a variety of settings, including the accidents involving the space shuttles Challenger and Columbia. In the case of the former, NASA administrators assessed the probability of launch failure at one in 100,000, a meaningless and completely abstract statistic given that that space shuttle program had only successfully completed 23 missions prior to the disastrous Challenger launch. NASA engineers expressed concern about launching the space shuttle in cold weather but could not back their experiential knowledge with quantifiable data to NASA management. One engineer employed by government contractor Morton-Thiokol even refused to sign off on the launch decision due to reservations about how the air temperature at launch time might affect rubber seals on the shuttle’s booster rockets. Nevertheless, NASA proceeded with the launch, and the Challenger exploded shortly after lift-off, killing seven astronauts. In the case of the shuttle Columbia, engineers pressed for management to examine the shuttle for damage sustained during launch, but executives “refused to use scarce agency resources to examine the potential damage, citing cost overruns for the use of an Air Force satellite and a possible risky space walk.”
Translation - Persian (Farsi) گارت، چهارچوب تضاد دانش را در موقعیت های مختلفی همچون حوادث مربوط به انفجار فضاپیماهای چلنجر و کلمبیا بکار گرفت. در خصوص فضاپیمای چلنجر، مدیران اجرایی ناسا احتمال شکست پرتاب این فضاپیما را یک در 100 هزار برآورد کردند. با توجه به اینکه آن برنامه فضاپیمایی قبل از پرتاب فاجعه آمیز چلنجر، تنها 23 ماموریت را با موفقیت به پایان رسانده بود، این اعداد و ارقام آماری بسیار بی معنا و نا ملموس بودند. مهندسان ناسا نگرانی خود را درباره ی پرتاب فضاپیما در هوای سرد ابراز کردند اما نتوانستند دانش تجربی خود را به وسیله ی داده های کمّی پشتیبانی کنند. یکی از مهندسان که توسط یک پیمانکار دولتی با نام مورتون-تیوکول استخدام شده بود حتی حاضر نشد تصمیم پرتاب فضاپیما را امضا کند، چون معتقد بود که دمای هوا در هنگام پرتاب ممکن است مهر و موم های لاستیکی روی راکت های تقویت کننده ی فضاپیما را تحت تاثیر قرار دهد. با این وجود، ناسا این پرتاب را انجام داد و فضاپیمای چلنجر در مدت کمی پس از پرتاب، منفجر شد و 7 فضا نورد در این حادثه کشته شدند. در خصوص فضاپیمای کلمبیا، مهندسان از مدیران خواستند تا فضاپیما را از لحاظ آسیب های احتمالی در هنگام پرتاب بررسی کنند، اما مدیران اجرایی حاضر نشدند تا از منابع محدود آژانس برای بررسی آسیب احتمالی استفاده کنند و به هزینه های بالای استفاده از ماهواره نیروی هوایی و پیاده روی فضایی اشاره کردند
