My name is Ida Stefansson and as of 2011, I run Sima Translations as a freelance translator. Sima offers professional translation and proofreading of most text types to companies, organisations and authorities, which is also reflected in Sima’s list of references. In addition, I also offer transcription and interpretation services.

Before setting out as a freelance I worked for a translation bureau with international clients like Microsoft, Nikon and Samsung.

I have an academic background in International Relations and language studies (English and Spanish), and after graduating I worked for the Viscount’s Department in Jersey, Channel Islands, hence why I specialise in social science and politics.

After 6 years in England and a shorter period in Spain, I decided to go back to Sweden and pursue my dreams as a freelance. A job that offers an international outlook, wherever I am.
