Bilino Polje is a football stadium in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is currently used to play the footbal games of the NK Čelik club, as well as the games of the national team.
History
The stadium was built and opened in 1972. Building was finished just before the final game of of the Central Europan Mitropa Cup in which the NK Čelik won against Fiorentina ACF and won the cup for the second time in a row. At that time, the stadium had a capacity of 30,000 spectators, but when setting seats, the capacity is around 18,000 places. In the meantime, the stadium has been significantly rebuilt and fulfills all UEFA and FIFA criteria for the organization of games at all levels of competition.
The current capacity of the stadium is 22,000 seats.
A few years after the construction, the stadium was given the nickname of "most beautiful Stadium in Yugoslavia". Bilino Polje has dimensions in the British style with a square outfit, not oval like the Koševo Stadium in Sarajevo.
In its first game againts Albania in 1995, the national team used that stadium (the score was 0-0).
Zenica had to wait five years for the national team to play a game there again. For a long time, the national team remained undefeated in that stadium. But on September 6th 2006, it experienced its first defeat, and that against Hungary with a score of 3-1.

Stadion Bilino polje
Historija
Septembra 2006. god. doživila svoj prvi poraz u Zenici, i to protiv reprezentacije Mađarske, rezultatom 3:1.

The High Representative, by way of his Decision, dated 8 July 2005 (“the 2005 Decision”), removed Mr. Nikola Lovrinović from his position of Minister of Education of the Central Bosnia Canton. This Decision also barred Mr. Lovrinović from being a candidate for the elections or to hold any executive office at any level (“Ban”). The 2005 Decision further provided explicitly for a lifting of the Ban at the sole discretion of the High Representative.
Upon careful consideration of Mr. Lovrinović’s case and after concluding that the reasons for his removal no longer apply and that he no longer poses a threat to peace implementation, institutional integrity or democracy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I have decided to repeal the Ban. Mr. Nikola Lovrinović is hereby expressly permitted to hold official, elective or appointive public office, to run in elections and to hold office within political parties.
This Decision has immediate effect and will not require any further procedural steps.
This Decision shall be published without delay in the Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
