Raymond Aron nous apprend que « les hommes font leur histoire et ne savent pas l’histoire qu’ils font. » Dès lors, personne ne sait où il va, et pourtant tout le monde y va. Comment ? Comme tout le monde, car « quand faut y aller, faut y aller ». Alors on y va, les USA devant, l’Europe derrière, puis suit l’Asie et enfin l’Afrique à la queue du peloton. Voilà le nouvel ordre mondial, celui qui est consacré par la mondialisation. Beaucoup manifestent leur désaccord, mais ils n’ont rien à proposer, si ce n’est qu’une inégalité remplace une autre inégalité, qu’une injustice succède à une injustice plus ancienne. Bien sûr il y a les alter mondialistes, ceux qui voudraient une autre mondialisation, mais laquelle ? Même conceptuellement, elle tarde à se manifester.
Translation - English The new world order is an economic one. Raymond Aron tells us that “men make their history without knowing the history they make”. Meanwhile, nobody knows where they are going, but everybody goes. How? Like everyone, as “when you have to go, you go”. And so we go, the U.S. ahead, followed by Europe, then Asia and Africa at the tail of the pack. So, this is the new world order, the one that is consecrated by globalization. Many are demonstrating their disagreement, but they have nothing to propose other than having one inequality replace another, or one injustice succeed to an older one. There are, of course, the alter globalists, those who would like a different globalization, but which one? Even conceptually, its manifestation is delayed.
