I thought that this was 'smokeproof enclosure' but I believe these are restricted to stairwells. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Context: Dør til brannsluse.

Ventilasjon av brannsluser skal ikke foregå gjennom åpninger til de rom som betjenes av slusen.

I don't have an English term yet for you (I've been out of the insurance game too long!), but this has to do with constructing a space that will be protected from smoke. See http://www.byggogbevar.no/pusse-opp-gammelt-hus/skade/branns... for an example.
It's not "just" a fire exit per se.
