(something that) can compile a full image of the neural tube

Based on the context of カット , I would say that 把握 means to compile or assemble a large image based on smaller ones.

I have heard 神経管 translated as "nerve canal" by a Japanese dentist. Checking online, "neural tube" seems to be the most commonplace technical term.

Other options: neurocanal, nerve tube

In retrospect, perhaps "neurocanal" would be more likely in a dental context.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "I have basically borrow suggestions from you and Ruth. However, I will award points to you sir, because of your accuracy in Terminology. I have used "neurocanal" where I was planning on using "nerve canal". Thanks. "

... that can ascertain a complete picture of the inside of the neural fibers

I believe that this is accurate. I don't know if "inside of the nerves" is enough or if you need "inside of the neural fibers", but that would be up to you to decide.

neutral dosanko : I am not sure if this is the correct translation of 神経管, I have heard a different explanation in the past. I think it refers to the canal which encapsulates the nerves. This would include the fibers, but I think is specifically referring to the canal.
