Secondo, Matthew

Hi Rita,
"Secondo" means literally "second" - parents in Italy used to name their children using numbers - perhaps some still do! Writer Primo Levi is a famous example. Matteo (two t's) means Matthew.

Secundus , Matthew

Secondo as far as I know has no english equivalent. I believe it comes from the latin name "Secundus" meaning "the second born/number 2"

Mateo = Matthew it comes from hebrew and means "God's gift"
