Je cherche une traduction pour "Abdeckwachs".
"Das Abdeckwachs wird zum Abdecken des Pumpenschachtes in Lötanlagen verwendet" https://www.wetec.de/media/import/downloads/Wetec_DE_373.pdf J'ai pensé à "Cire de protection", "cire protective" ou "cire de revêtement" - Google donne plusieurs résultats pour chacun -, mais je ne suis pas sure quel mot on utilise dans mon cas. Qui peut aider ? Merci.

Wenn es um Schutzwachs ginge, würde ich es mit "cire protective" übersetzen, also schützendes Wachs. "cire de protection" klingt für mich etwas schwerer, wäre rückübersetzt zwar auch Schutzwachs, ganaugenommen aber "Wachs zum Schutz".

Da aus dem Kontext aber nicht hervorgeht, dass die Wachsabdeckung zum Schutz eines Bauteils dient, sie kann auch einfach nur etwas abdecken, würde ich dabei bleiben und keine Funktionen hineininterpretieren, wenn man das nicht aus anderer Quelle sicher weiß.

"abdecken" läßt sich zwanglos mit "couvrir" übersetzen, im gegebenen Kontext mit "couvrant". Die Substantivierung zu "(re)couvrement" würde ich ebenfalls meiden.
