Die Samen des Bockshornklees werden getrocknet und als Imbiss zwischendurch genossen oder aber in der Küche, in gemahlener Form bei Gewürzmischungen, Essiggemüse, Suppen, Salaten, Saucen und Fleischgerichten verwendet.
