On retrouve encore dans la littérature de toutes les époques les dénominations suivantes : vitriol bleu (à cause de sa couleur), couperose bleue, sulfate de cuivre, sulfate cuivrique, sulfate cuivrique penta hydraté.

Si ma dalle ricerche in rete mi risulta che il sulfate cuivrique è il rameico (http://eur-lex.europa.eu/Notice.do?mode=dbl&lang=fr&ihmlang=... e che il nome indicato dalla nomenclatura IUPAC(http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nomenclatura_chimica) è solfato di rame (vedi scheda wikipedia citata sopra per solfato rameico).
