Topwing a seismic energy source and a plurality of pressure responsive seismic sensors and motion responsive seismic sensores in a body of water and actuating the seismic energy source at selected times.
Signals detected by the pressure responsive sensors and the motion responsive sensors are recorded. The pressure responsive signals and the motion responsive signals are corss ghosted. A difference betwen the cross ghosted signals is determined. The difference is used to attenuate noise in a least one of the pressure responsive signals and the motion responsive signals.

Lejos de campo firmas suelen ser registrado, por una variedad de fuentes (una fuente de dirección). A directional source is one whose dimensions are of the same order as the wavelengths of interest, L≈ λ.
