Zusammen mit der Pacific Shark Initiative arbeitete, entwickelte und kämpfte Shark Savers für die Verabschiedung dieses wichtigen Gesetz - dem Ersten innerhalb des Gebietes der USA. Haie dürfen an keinem Hafen des CNMI an Land gebracht werden. Des Weiteren ist nun auch der Tausch, Verkauf und Besitz von Haiflossen illegal.
