Condensateur électrolytique à électrolyte solide / liquide ?
(dry/solid vs wet electrolytic capacitor)
Tony M Oct 15, 2020:
@ Asker I've changed the field for you, but we do still need to know just what type of capcitors is involved here; if you context doesn't explain that further, then we at least need to have enough of your wider context to understand what is being said about them?
Tim Ganassi (asker) Oct 15, 2020:
You're right, the question should have been asked under Electronics.
Tony M Oct 15, 2020:
@ Asker What kind of 'capacitors' are we tlking about here? The electronic variety seems rather at odds with your stated field...?

Condensateur à air contre condensateur "à liquide"

These seems to be Condensateurs à isolant:
-> condensateur à air (ou isolé dans l'air)
-> condensateur à electrolyte liquide?
Note from asker:
"Power Factor Correction and Tuning Capacitors" is the title of the section Fluid Filled Capacitors: These components are hermetically sealed. The insulating (dielectric) fluid used in capacitors is non-PCB and environmentally acceptable. Dry Filled Capacitors: These components do not contain any combustible materials.

neutral Tony M : Impossible to tell with knowing what kind of 'capacitors' it involves; in some fields, air-insulated capacitors would be VERY unusual, and other commoner 'dry' types exist
