: Could go with "venison ragout". Might also suggest "jugged venison" or "stewed venison". I don't think it's a "terrine" though. Should add that "Gulasch" and "Pfeffer" are two distinct preparations.

in this case it is definitely venison ragout for the Rehgulasch; I would still use deer wild game for Rehpfeffer
