These two references are the French and English versions of the same ABB brochure. When 'puit de shunt' is used in the French version, 'jumpering system' is used in the other.

Although 'shunting zone' is used in Viking 3 systems (see Liz's references), this seems to be the only manufacturer that uses this phrase (other than when related to shunting trains)
