Finnish term

maksetaan velkojille huonoimmalle etuoikeudelle

Finnish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
I don't quite understand what "huonoimmalle etuoikeudelle" means here:

"
"

"huonoin etuoikeus" looks like it might mean "least priority".

But even if so, I can't work out the mechanics of how "huonoimmalle etuoikeudelle" fits into the rest of the sentence.

Perhaps there is a grammar error or typo here somewhere (it wouldn't be the only one I've found in this document).

Thanks for any assistance

Finnish term (edited): huonoin etuoikeusasema
Selected

lowest seniority

The debtors are treated according to the seniority levels of their receivables.
Typo, yes:
maksamaton osa lainaa ja korkoa maksetaan velkojille huonoimmalle etuoikeudelle
-> maksamaton osa lainaa ja korkoa maksetaan velkojille huonoimmalla etuoikeudella
or (much) better:
maksamaton osa lainaa ja korkoa maksetaan huonoimman etuoikeusaseman velkojille
Note from asker:
Thanks! (However, did you mean to say "creditor" (= velkoja) rather than "debtor"?)

Kiitos, Irja!
agree Pertti Hietaranta : Yes, it is a question of the seniority order of debts here, cf. e.g. https://www.nordea.fi/en/personal/prices/legal-assignments-r... And yes, there is a most unfortunate typo (misleading case form) in the text.
