I'm translating a French psychiatric report and I'm stuck on the phrase "interprétativité". The report says the patient has a "tendance à l’interprétativité" and that she needs an antipsychotic to reduce this "interprétativité". I guess a translation might be "a tendency to overinterpret the actions of other people", since the patient is paranoid and thinks people are always watching her and listening to her.

"Méfiance soupçonneuse envahissante envers les autres dont les intentions sont interprétées comme malveillantes..."
In the EN version, that gives
"Paranoid Personallity Disorder" that starts out as :
"A pervaisve distrust and suspiciousness of others such that their motives are interpreted as malevolent..."
