Discussion

Juan Jacob Mar 13, 2016:
Existen... ...dos tipos de actas de nacimiento, y supongo que lo sabe:
1.- Acta de nacimiento "simple", o "extracto", en una hoja;
2.- Acta de nacimiento "literal", que es la "completa", la que queda en el Registro Civil. En este caso, "literal" significa "completa".
Suerte.

You haven'¡t provided too many details... However, three are glossary entries already, and perhaps, if you have a look, something may help you.

long-form certificate

The long form certificate is a printed image of the original certificate of birth. In addition to the child’s name and date of birth, it contains information such as the name of the hospital, address of parents, parents’ dates of birth, etc. The “short form” certificate is a computer generated extract of the information listed on the original birth certificate. The short form is not available for births prior to 1949.
