Italian term

dall\'unione

Italian to English Law/Patents Law (general) separation appeal
"Dall'unione matrimoniale in data x e' nata x in data x"

Un modo appropriato per tradurre "dall'unione matrimoniale" in questo contesto?
Thanks :)

No, it's not a mistake.

I"m thinking of simply putting "Their daughter x was born on x". The extra "in data x" must be a redundant mistake in the original. No need to refer to their marriage again since in the prior clause the names of the parents and details of their marriage are listed clearly. Thoughts?

Italian term (edited): From the union

A daughter, Name, was born on Date

You can say it any way you want. The first 'in data' is referring to the marriage date, the second to the child's date of birth. to be literal, "From the union that took place on dd/mm/yyyy, a daughter was born on dd/mm/yyyy," which in some cases is perfectly acceptable in keeping with the style of official documents.

Italian term (edited): dall'unione

see my suggestion for the whole sentence

"The couple married on [date] and had a daughter, X, on [date]."

I don't think "from the union" sounds very idiomatic.
