Mehr Kontext erforderlich! Was wird wie geprüft? Ist ein bestimmter Zeitraum gemeint, oder handelt es sich um die zeitliche Überlappung bestimmter Prüfungen (Parallelisierung)? Gewollt oder ungewollt?

simultaneous (and continuous)

i.e. Prüfungen being conducted at different venues but at the same time at each,
and continuous, as in no breaks at any venue.
So that the result is representative and fair - no one has an unfair advantage of knowing in advance what result has to be beaten.
How I understand it. The reason in some sports why the final games of the season are played simultaneously.

Adding "temporally" to overlapping seems doppelt gemoppelt to me..

Da kein weiterer Kontext geliefert wurde, muss ich mich auf die wörtliche Übersetzung beschränken. Für "zeitlich übergreifend" (das mir etwas gestelzt vorkommt) gibt ein besseres und geläufigeres Wort: "zeitübergreifend"
