De locatie wordt niet echt gemaskeerd, maar in plaats van een exacte locatie wordt die bij benadering aangegeven, of benaderd. Je zou 'blurring' er tussen haakjes achter kunnen zetten. 'Vervagen' lijkt me niet echt iets, het gaat in deze context om bij benadering aangeven. Ik betwijfel zelfs of het om visueel blurren voor de gebruiker gaat, of alleen info betreft die naar Apple gestuurd wordt:
"In addition to searching your Mac, Spotlight now shows suggestions from the Internet, iTunes, App Store, movie showtimes, locations nearby, and more.
