Slovak term
cooperate
Slovak to English
Bus/Financial
General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
After 13 years as a translator and all the countless times I've seen translated sentences using the phrase "we look forward to cooperating with your company" or any variation thereof I still have not got used to it. I naturally and instinctively want to say "work with" or "work together" as opposed to "cooperate" but now I wonder if my way is more prevalent in AE and maybe cooperate is a natural for BE. Thoughts? I'm unable to keep this over-used word (at least in my language pair) from rubbing me the wrong way, and I'm aiming for the most natural sounding English for target readers predominantly from this (European) side of the pond.

Note from asker:
I wasn't looking for a translation to Slovak, for some reason someone changed my original English question to English to Slovak. But thanks for chiming in, Juro |

nie je vzdy len negativum...
ale v zmysle; work together, work side by side, team up, ako aj join forces, create together, cooperate, unite
