Ein Sammelstück wird in Leitungen eingebaut, um beispielsweise zwei Ströme zu einem zu vereinen und umgekehrt. Im Deutschen existiert auch das Synonym "Hosenstück". In Linguee kursieren Übersetzungen wie collecting piece, cluster, die aber alle nicht die gleichen Bildertreffer unter Google Bilder ergeben wie der deutsche Begriff. Besonders scheint dieses Einbauteil bei der Feuerwehr verwendet zu werden.
