Italian term

compenetrazione

Italian to English Art/Literary Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting critique
.... vere chiavi d'accesso alla compenetrazione misteriosa tra finito e infinito.

the context is that of a certain number of elements inserted by the artist in his works which reveal the strong connection between the visible and the invisible layers of perception

I don't like the words interpenetration, permeation or mutual penetration.
I was thinking about interwave.
Any other idea?
Thanks

I can see why you don't like "mutual penetration" !!!

blend into each other

to the mysterious way the finite and the infinite blend into each other
Really need to see the paintings. One alternative I thought of is telescoping. Do you see objects inserted into other objects or mists, blending into each other and things fading away?

Reminds me of a certain artist I know who is obsessed with visible, the invisible etc.
