This is a text discussing drug testing and I am not sure about how best to translate the part between the asterisks. I imagine that 'con efectos auxiliares' is referring to the analyses. The use of 'de' after 'auxiliares' puzzles me a little - do they just mean analyses 'carried out by technical experts who work for the public authorities (i.e. civil servants)? For some reason, I have a mental block with this sentence.
Any ideas gratefully received!

One way to translate the text would be the following:
The contrast test cannot be performed in a private laboratory that is not accredited to perform this type of analysis under the corresponding public-sector methods regarding expert reports since it breaks the “chain of custody” of the evidence.
However, another way of translating the phrase would be to leave it out, knowing that the word “accredited” is used, adding “duly” before it and that the source text continues to explain the concept further below (in bold).
