Soll man wirklich sagen, dass diese Gummimatten einer artgerechten Umgebung entsprechen? ("keep animals in their natural environment"??)
Oder sollte man das artgerecht hier ignorieren? Sind Gummimatten artgerecht? Wo sind die Tierfreunde unter uns?

Bitte: Keine Anführungszeichen bei Fragen verwenden - wie soll man den Begriff sonst im Glossar finden? (Wer denkt schon daran, bei der Suche bei jedem Begriff Anführungszeichen einzugeben).

Tja, ... ... ich habe für das Übersetzungsproblem erst mal keine Lösung anzubieten, aber der Begriff der "artgerechten Tierhaltung" ist schon ein Widerspruch in sich. Selbst im Bio-Bereich (Demeter etc.) wird das durch die Haltung entstehende Tierleid nur mehr oder weniger verringert. Zur Frage der Gummimatten: Die haben mit "artgerechter Haltung" nun rein gar nichts zu tun, egal was die Marketingstrategen schreiben mögen.

neutral 784512 (X) : That isn't what the source says. Artgerechte Tierhaltung is a specific concept, based on treating animals differently in accordance with what is important to each species. Temple Grandin, etc.
