Patients who are poor surgical risks, with multiple illnesses or with active general infections should not be implanted."

Lead movement Ho trovato questo, ma non so come renderlo in italiano:

"Lead movement—Patients should be instructed to avoid bending, twisting, stretching, or lifting objects over five pounds, for six to eight weeks postimplantation. Extension of the upper torso or neck may cause lead movement and alter the stimulation field (especially with leads in the cervical area), resulting in overstimulation or ineffective stimulation."

Grazie mille. In questi contesti "lead" si traduce con "elettrocatetere". / Esatto. Nel caso di questa domanda il dispositivo viene utilizzato contro il dolore e alcuni modelli più recenti sono anche predisposti per la risonanza magnetica.
